London Eye places to eat

I know this probably isn't in the right place but we're going to the London Eye tomorrow (me and 6 year old son) I'd like to take him somewhere decent/fun nearby for lunch. Any suggestions welcome as Google is doing my head in thanks.

Just stroll along the south bank and there are plenty of places. Giraffe is a chain, but very child friendly and the food is good, Wahaca is always decent, Yo Sushi if he would enjoy choosing his plates off the conveyor belts. If you'd prefer someone different, there is usually a good food market behind the Royal Festival Hall with lots of options to choose from. Further down is Gabrielle's Wharf with the Gourmet Pizza Co. Honestly, there's a ton of suitable places nearby!

Sorry assume I'm totally clueless. Is the South Bank where the London Eye is? If its on my right or left am i walking along? We can't eat pizza unfortunately but will check out some other places you mentioned. Thanks

Yes, the London eye is on the South bank of the Thames. If you are standing with your back to the eye, you will walk left down towards Blackfriars bridge, the stretch between these two bridges is known as 'the southbank' and all restaurants/food market mentioned will be along there!

Yep, agree with Wahaca or Giraffe, just the other side of the Jubilee Gardens
