Moved into the house nearly three years ago now. Previous owners smoked, but I figured it would be fine after we redecorated and replaced carpets etc.
Oh, my hubris.
The built-in cupboards in the kids rooms have suddenly started stinking again of cigarette smoke. They were washed down and I painted the interiors shortly after moving in, so I’m at a loss as to where the smell is coming from again.
Kids are 4 & 5 so not hiding a secret smoking habit or anything.
Any one any ideas of how I can get rid of the smell?! It’s where I keep their school uniforms and I don’t want them smelling on their first day!
