Invited to Baby Christening, is it customary to buy a gift?

Am I expected to bring a gift? The christening is of a not so close family member, for context. I have already purchased a nice christening card.

If yes, any gift suggestions?

I know there's loads of baby stuff to buy from toys to silver baby picture frames, but I've recently been reading about minimising and have questioned if they'll really want more stuff? Parents are both reasonably wealthy so I can't imaging them wanting for anything.

Yes to a gift

Yes, but if money is tight a card is sufficient. Personally I'd buy some sort of religious themed baby book.

Yes but I'd just get a book. You can get cardboard book sets in places like The Works fairly inexpensive so no need to spend a fortune.

Yes to a gift. I tend to do a nice set of children’s classic books eg Narnia, Michael Morpurgo.

Yes usually
