3 Days in Madrid

We have unexpectedly found ourselves to have 3 free days in Madrid coming up soon.
It will be myself and teen DD age 17.
Has anyone got any tips as to what to do and also not to do.
We don't mind walking places but as this has unexpectedly came up I feel a bit clueless as to how best to fill out time
