Anyone else hate this month because of the spiders?

I absolutely hate it! When I realised today was 1st August I was filled with dread.

We get massive ones here the size of my hand.

Now I will be on edge constantly looking out for them.

They usually start in September though might be early this year because of the weather.

It’s usually ok here until the very end of August, and then you start to see the fuckers. Trying to encourage cellar spiders, as they predate in the nasty hairy ones.

It’s usually the beginning of Autumn but I think the weather has confused them 😬

I must be one of the lucky ones who gets them early 😰

Omg @NotSoBigCrocodile I’m not prepared for this. I usually get twitchy in September time but it’s already damp out so they might be tricked into thinking it’s already September. I hadn’t considered this until reading this thread 😫

Being as most people posting on this thread won’t like spiders, why did you post a picture of one?

Yes I've always noticed them from more like the start of September usually but we had an enormous one run across the living room floor the other day, scared the life out of me 😣 I'm not happy if the weather means a longer spider season.

Weve got a couple of cellar spiders in the house, im absolutely terrified of spiders but i keep these ones in the hope i don't get big ones 🤞🏻🤞🏻
