Birmingham hotel recommendations

Family friendly but teens not little ones. Interconnecting rooms a bonus but they're old enough to share. Easy enough to walk/ bus to centre. Hit me up with your recommendations ?

Budget? The Burlington on New Street is lovely & surprisingly reasonably priced. Novotel on Broad Street is also a good value option. If you want luxury, it's Malmaison in The Mail Box.

Avoid the Radisson Blu at all costs. Expensive, shabby rooms & shocking service.

Avoid the Britannia in New Street. Nothing on Hagley Road (apart from the Premier Inn), as they tend to be flophouses masquerading as hotels.

As usual, you can’t miss with a Premier Inn (the one by the cathedral is my favourite)
