Please give me a push to get off the sofa

I have a bedroom upstairs that needs to be painted.

If I got off my arse I could put a first coat on one wall and clean up afterwards, with plenty of time before bed. Right?

How long would it take? I just need to get started!

Depends if it has already been prepped.

If it hasn't do the prep tonight, it's that which takes time. The painting will take a fraction of the time

Just think how chuffed you will feel when it’s done. It will look lovely and fresh and it will be another job ticked off your list.

Can you put a podcast/radio show on your phone or an old comedy that you are so familiar with that you can just listen and not watch - that might help make decorating more pleasant.

@frozendaisy I don’t think I have to do anything do I? It’s clean and is currently painted white, I was just planning on painting over it.

Am thinking of going upstairs and getting the painting gear together… 🔦
