I crossed on Saturday despite my best efforts I cannot pay, the website is down, they were doing maintenance on it and I've tried a few times but apparently I'm in a queue which doesn't seem to move AiBU to think they need to waive the charge? Anyone else in the same situation?

Is it appropriate to make my regular rant that the promise was that it would be free by now......

Whole thing is a massive scam, particularly for locals, numerous road crossings in the West, only 2 in the East and you can forget about the ferry.

I've just received a PCN in the post for a crossing in August I couldn't pay for because the website wouldn't work. Do you think I can appeal it? Has anyone else had a PCN for August when the website was down?
