Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I’m looking for advice from those of you that have used the proper (American) crest teeth whitening strips and how I can buy them as I know UK stockists don’t sell the ones they do in America due to the hydrogen peroxide levels but I really want to try them out as they seem to have the best reviews and thought it’s worth a try before forking out dentist prices 😮

  • I see you can get them on Amazon or Etsy but I want to make sure I’m not wasting my money on fake ones if that makes sense!!

I buy them on eBay. They are excellent

I used to get them and I love them!! I'm now scared I buy fakes, how can you tell the ones you are getting are real on eBay

@Eloweeese @misssunshine4040 This is the thing! So worried about getting fakes as you then have no idea what you’re putting on your teeth 😐

Which ones did you get @waterlego ?

waterlego · 01/08/2023 20:23

These. I’m as certain as I can be that they are the legitimate product. They’re really effective!

Yes which ones did you choose @waterlego? and have they worked well for you? Would love to know which are the best to get because there seems so many different ones x

Oh great thanks @waterlego! Will give these a try ☺️ Did they arrive fairly quickly?

OP posts:
waterlego · 01/08/2023 20:50

They did arrive pretty quickly IIRC. I found it hard to choose between the products because couldn’t really work out what the differences were between them. I think I just went for something which had a good rating and was reasonably priced. (I think there may have been a discount on those at the time too).

sopeas · 03/08/2023 21:53

Thanks @waterlego just ordered the sample/tester (3 treatments) to see how I get on! Did you notice a difference in your teeth after the first lot or did you have to do quite a few?

@sopeas how did you get on?

PunishmentRoundupWithJoon · 09/10/2023 23:31

I've used these and had truly amazing results. That was a few years ago and I used, I think, the product with the highest percentage of hydrogen peroxide - it was two week course and after two days I genuinely couldn't believe the difference. I mean, from being kind of grey, my teeth were WHITE.

I've used them occasionally since but never with quite the same brilliant results - they do work though.

You can find out online which product contains which level of hydrogen peroxide. I think the strongest is 14%.

Bloomingmagnolia · 10/10/2023 06:50

Currently using them after a friend bought me a box from the US. They are brill!

LennyBalls · 10/10/2023 07:00

I get mine from Amazon US. They're good.
When you open Amazon app just type Amazon US in the search bar and it asks you if you want to change jurisdiction. Takes a couple weeks to arrive. I also get the Colgate 5% whitening toothpaste from there too

Disturbia81 · 10/10/2023 07:23

I've used them for years, twice a year 10 days at a time. My teeth are white and used to be yellow. Never needed expensive whitening treatments

CookieDoughKid · 10/10/2023 12:07

Great to hear positive results? How about sensitivity? I'm in my 40s and a bit of a wuss buy happy to put up for a bit of whiteness!!

I used them years ago. They really did work but they did make my teeth very sensitive. I also have a really faint crack on my tooth from a car accident and it made that more noticeable.

CookieDoughKid · 10/10/2023 14:10

@BeverleyMacker thank you!

TheChosenTwo · 10/10/2023 14:14

Ive used the ones from the photo above, I also used a website that has now been shut down.
Although they really made a difference to the colour they did make my teeth incredibly sensitive so I didn’t use them again (think I bought 2 weeks worth and didn’t bother with the last 2 strips), I’ll put up with my off white teeth!

Disturbia81 · 10/10/2023 14:40

I've never had sensitivity.

LennyBalls · 11/10/2023 07:34

They don't cause me sensitivity either

sopeas · 13/11/2023 00:33

Hello! Sorry for taking ages to reply! I didn’t see a huge difference tbh, maybe I needed to use them for longer or maybe because they aren’t the US ones they don’t have the high enough percentage etc x
