Where could we go for one weekend in autumn?

We have a rare 3 day window to go somewhere lovely. I’m not sure what we should do!

In case it matters - we’re going for a weekend in a log cabin the weekend before, and we’ll be going abroad for a week a month later. Done Edinburgh and London already this year but partial to go back to either

We would like somewhere with really good food, interesting museums to visit and possibly a show to watch. Can anyone recommend a lovely weekend break?

Seville is lovely, great food and lots of culture (plus all in walking distance if each other). It will still be very pleasant weather wise in Autumn, we went at the start of October and it was scorching hot still! It also has the benefit of being a small airport so you get through really quick when you arrive, we were in a taxi 15 minutes after our plane touched down.

Are you looking abroad of England? York is nice for a weekend, museums, ghost walks, pubs/restaurants and lots of shops. Designer outlet/mccarthur glen can go on bus or short 10 min drive from York
