Camping this week anyone else? 🌧🌦⛈

We are leaving this morning for a week of camping. Only an hour down the road.

Weather report horrendous 😆 So have packed extra stuff for the children (teen,tween and 3year old)

Currently downstairs, house is silent ☺️Having a cup of tea and have a few biscuits.

We packed the car last night and stopping for breakfast on the way. So they don’t mess the tidy house up haha.

Anyone else camping in the potential Rain/thunder this week? We are east of England.

Going to France at the end of the week - weather forecast not great for there either! Luckily we have a house booked for the week after. Are there any indoor places to visit nearby?

I live in the East. The forecast looks like rain every day but if you look at the more detailed forecast it looks like showers rather than full on rain and some days just rain for part of the day. Do you have electric hook up? We usually take a fan heater to dry everything if it's going to be wet. Worst comes to the worst you can always come home if you are only an hour away!

Yep later in the week We'll just crack on, take lots of wine and snacks and blankets and make the most of it!

We’ve just cancelled our trip up to Scotland. I can’t bare the thought of camping right now… weather is so shit it’s depressing me

Guide camp this week 😭

Because the only thing better than camping in the rain is camping in the rain with 30 teenage girls.

Over in East Anglia it has been beautiful 24c yesterday and sunny this evening after a bit of a grey day this morning.
