Family Shows at Edinburgh Fringe

Are there people going to the Edinburgh Fringe this August, looking for show recommendations?

I'm bringing up a family-friendly musical named Money-Go-Round, which is written by the poet Roger McGough.

Performing at 11:55am between the 3rd and 21st August at the Assembly BallRoom on George Street

You can see the show's trailer here:

Keen to hear what recommendations people have for shows, family-friendly or otherwise. I have some recommendations for other family shows if people want them!

Looks wonderful, judging by that clip. Hope you get packed houses!

Roger McGough is an absolute legend.

Keep an eye out for Recitals for Wrigglers.

There's a very extensive catalogue of events if you Google. That will help you decide what you fancy seeing.

I've seen 2 amazing things already this year (both theatre) -

In Loyal Company (on at the Pleasance Courtyard at 1.30pm) - based on a true world war 2 story. Incredibly acted and moving, we were gripped and haven't stopped telling people about it since. Would say it's suitable for families with older primary school age kids plus (assuming they aren't particularly sensitive)

Quality of mercy (surgeons hall 5.35pm) - a play about Harold Shipman, quite dark (obviously) but really well done and very respectful of the victims. Definitely not family friendly though!

For comedy / musical, we see showstopper at the pleasance grand every year - a big production, v funny and an easy watch! Great family night out.

The OP isn’t asking for suggestions, they’re suggesting their show for families on mumsnet

My mistake! Sorry
