Wakefield hotel

We're hoping to have a night away in September in Wakefield. The plan is to spend one day at Nostell Priory and the other at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We'd like to stay somewhere close to both ideally with a hotel that serves good food.

TIA.

Two Premier Inns serve Wakefield but you might be better staying elsewhere if you want great food. Rogerthorpe Manor is close and gets good reviews if you don’t mind a little drive. Otherwise you could stay in Leeds and drive out. Nostell and the Sculpture Park are both very nice

I went to a wedding at Burntwood Court hotel recently, didn't stay over but heard from others that did that it was nice. It's near to Nostell.

@BHRK This is good to know, we've been to either buy thought they both looked like fab days out.

three acres is about 5 mins from the sculpture park, not a chain, well known locally for food

I've eaten at the Three Acres the food is wonderful there.

Sculpture Park can get very muddy!
