Parc Asterix

Hi,

We are going to France next week. Staying near Laon.

Is Parc Asterix good value for money etc? Seems expensive but we would stretch if it was worth it.

Any tips etc greatly appreciated!

If you’re mainly interested in rides then Park Asterix is great. The main rides at Aterix parc are spectacular but often too wild for smaller kids. For teenagers it is a paradise! Parc Asterix also has some shows as well. We only got to see one of them and were pretty disappointed - it was nothing compared to DLP. Asterix parc is of course much smaller than DLP which makes it cosier and less hectic, but it does not have the same overall glamour. I’d also say that Asterix is geared up mostly to a French audience. Plus, if you’re not a fan of Astérix or if none of your party are, then the enjoyment of it is diminished.

Took my son (8) at the time 9 years ago and it’s fantastic. We go to Europa Park in Germany every year, I’ve struggled to find a theme park anywhere near as good anywhere. Parc Asterix was a very pleasant surprise!
