I have order a bundle of clothes for my DS from Vinted. I am keen to have them because he will love them, but the seller is away on holiday for a week.
I don't mind waiting until they are back - but I wondered if Vinted would automatically refund me after 5 working days? Can I delay that somehow- and let them know I don't mind waiting?

Anyone?

Vinted will altomatically refund, can't remember if it is 5 or 7 days. I don't think there is a way to stop it unfortunately.

Could you ask the seller to reserve the item for you?

Oh Hooray! Thank you for answering. So I can't get around the automatic refund, but once it's been refunded I can ask seller to reserve and then buy them again?
I wondered if Vinted would block buying the same item.

Has the seller not put "holiday mode" on?

That may not help in your case but it means no-one can make purchases whilst they are away. The seller is at fault here.

This happend to me . I sold something 2 days before I went on holiday then completely forgot to send it. I contacted the buyer and offered a refund but she wanted the item so I agreed I would send as soon as I got home. I warned her about the automatic refund and she agreed to buy it again if that should happen but it didn't and she even left me good feedback.
The seller has made a mistake by not putting their profile into holiday mode. I would message them and discuss how they will best resolve the issue.

The seller would need to relist when they get back. You will be able to buy again, but obviously there is the slight risk someone else buys it before you do
