We’ve got a lot of summer holiday ahead of us and no real holiday camps! (And a lot of screen-begs.)

What craft type activity has been a hit for you? Two boys aged six and eight. Or anything similar really!! Non screen based activities, for when they don’t have friends to play with!!

If you don't mind the mess, plaster of Paris little models that they can paint; Lego challenges, junk modelling on a theme; paint pebbles and go and put them somewhere in the wild; baking and decorating cookies or cakes; obstacle courses in the garden; go and choose a jigsaw and DK it together with snacks and good music on .the Works do a brilliant range of puzzles and other craft stuff. To be honest, just head down there with some cash and you'll have plenty of options.

Depends. Do yours actually like crafting? The only thing mine ever got into was random junk modeling - basically the contents of the recycling bin and a mountain of sellotape. Or if we'd had a delivery of something in a BIG box carving that up. Or lego.
Dedicated craft (and art) kits went untouched in this house.

Check out “Sustainable Living for Families” and “52 Fun Activities for Families” on Amazon. Both books have fab activities for your aged children, fun active and creative.
