I was at a county fayre today, lots of happy people, lots with dogs on leads, lots of stalls selling dog treats.

Then I saw a man wearing a Baby Bjorn sling style baby carrier. With a small dog in it. Jack Russel type dog with its legs at right angles to its body.
I've seen dogs in pushchairs and even handbags but not worn on a body!
Is this a thing? Are there actually slings for dogs?
It can't be good for the dog?

You can buy them for dogs or cats if you have the urge.

a friend of mine had one for his little dog when he got old so he could still come on the long country walks even though he wasn’t able to walk the distance anymore.

thought about getting one for my cat just for the comedy value.

I have one for my old boy poodle, he loves being out and about but can’t walk very far anymore. He gets really excited when he sees me getting it out!

I'm more used to seeing dogs in the wrap type sling, rather than ones where their legs are poking through.

Jolly useful for puppies who have not had all their jabs yet
