Recommend me a new backpack!

I work away for half the week and I need a bag that can carry my laptop, clothes, books, toiletries, water bottle, lunch etc for a few days. I would like it to be comfy to carry too as I am lugging it around so much. I was looking at the large Roka bags but wondered about how much they can actually hold. Would love some suggestions from wise mumsnetters.

How bulky are your clothes? You could use a packing cube and fit a fair bit in a large roka bag but you would need to iron it when you arrived, possibly. I like them. They're very comfy to wear, and have good pockets.

I’d get something made for carrying heavy stuff comfortably and with lots of room. Thanks - I will check out style and beauty then. The Hershel looks nice! I love the look of the Roka bags just wonder if it will be practical enough. The Osprey certainly has plenty of space.

Just bought a carhartt for my son. It had good recommendations and he insisted on three pockets so it's going to be roomy.
