Help needed re car stereo

If anyone who knows about these things can help I'd appreciate it as I don't know any 'car people' I can ask.

My car is a 14 year old Yaris and has a radio (FM/AM only)/CD player but there is a CD stuck in there and do I can only listen to the radio. The radio itself is pretty crap, not being digital so on long journeys I can't listen to anything. (There is an AUX adaptor but I don't have a fitting that I can plug my phone into it with and besides you can't use your phone when you're driving to put things on etc)

So I want to see if I can get a DAB radio/CD player fitted but I don't know where to start. So many websites seem to be scams - a few I have looked at today have warning reviews on Trustpilot. Does anyone know of a reputable one?

Also once I have the replacement where would I have it fitted? Would I have to take it to a Toyota dealership or could any garage do it?

TIA 🙂

Halfords can do this and help you choose one that is suitable for your car. I get my car serviced at a Toyota dealership and they don't do audio.

Halfords will probably have one that will fit and will fit it for you, I would probably go to one of the stores if you have one near you

Halfords!! Of course, I feel like a dunce now for not working that out for myself. Thanks both.
