Does anybody have redundancy insurance cover and can recommend a provider..

I work in an industry that loves a restructure. I have a suspicion there may be another one in the rumblings, and potentially my job could be at risk. If not this restructure I expect another one in at least 2 years time.

We can't afford our bills without our two incomes, so I need to get cover before a restructure becomes "official". Or at least to just have that peace of mind..

I've never had insurance like this before, so would welcome recommendations if anyone can help.

I spent quite a while looking into it and came away uninsured. There are very few providers and the premiums are ridiculous.

I’ve just taken it out and it is very expensive. Try MSE for recommendations as everyone’s circumstance is different and levels of cover needed vary. My organisation is restructuring and I will have a clearer picture after Christmas, so if all is well I won’t renew next year.
