Can head lice spread through the eggs?

I really hope I am being paro here but my niece has head lice and I was not aware of it. Was very annoyed to find out after I had hugged her and for that brief moment our hairs made contact.

She has been treated and is continuing to be treated, for a few days now and there doesn't seem to be any live lice just 3 eggs found today. I am so worried my hair is going to be infested now. What is the likelihood?

You need a live female louse to be on your head and for it to lay eggs attached to your hair in order to have head lice. If there were no lice to walk onto your hair then you won't have caught anything

The eggs are glued onto the hair they won’t have fallen off onto your head
