Any dressmakers that can help?

Hi all,

Firstly apologies, if I haven't posted in the right place but I am looking for a dressmaker and struggling to find one around my area. I live in Cambridge but open to London as I travel there often. I am looking to have a simple summer dress made, nothing extravagant. Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated.

Can't help directly but any local facebook groups are great for these kind of recommendations, you can usually find someone very local, especially somewhere as large as Cambridge.

Or checkout your local Nextdoor app.

Wherever/whoever you select, be sure to see examples and sincere recommendations. Some horrific stories out there of 'chancers' and scammers.

What about that alterations shop near the quayside? Maybe they also do full makes?
