Anyone else waiting for Good Omens 2 to drop and then pulling an all nighter?

Or am I the only person who is ridiculously excited about this?!

Supposed to be 00:01 but if I remember correctly, the first one was actually an hour later I would guess due to BST.

No all nighter for me. I was up all last night in A & E with DM so I'm shattered but I will be paying for a month of prime so I can watch it!

Yes, but first I'm finishing The Blacklist - assuming it has an end! I paid for Prime just for Good Omens 2, then got all involved with this improbable alliance between the FBI and an arch-criminal, and its very satisfying one-story-per-episode format.

I can't really remember Good Omens 1 now, but NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!

Amazon Prime

I have three different versions of GO on audio!

One is the dramatization with Peter Serafinowic, Charlotte thingy from Ghosts/Call the Midwife and Josie Lawrence.

One is the original audio book narrated by Martin Jarvis.

And a new dramatised audio book with the dialogue voiced by, amongst others David Tennant and Michael Sheen!

OK so potentially controversial Q

I am a long time fan of TP and NG. Loved Good Omens since I first read it eons ago.

I am not all over the idea that they are in love, I really am not.

To me Crowley and Aziraphale are true platonic best friends. 4000 years and they each only have the other who understands, who went through it, who is part of the Heaven/Hell set up. They literally have no one else. They came to the agreement, they worked together to bring up Adam, and then they worked together again to save the world, not to save each other.

There are so many people who havent read the book who think that they are secretly in love. I think that they want that to be true in a romantic way without realising that two men can truly love each other without it being romantic

I think that they do love each other but in a sibling type way. Falling out, totally at odds, blaming each other, but pulling together against mum and dad/heaven and hell when they need to and fighting the universe for each other. And when they win "that was your fault"....no it was your fault.....

We have a very sensible 16 year old who's been working, so no all-nighter for us, but with John Finnemore on the writing team oh wow! Ep 1 looking good and will be counting down to teen getting home tomorrow so we can carry on with it.

Gutted. Absolutely gutted.

What a waste of talent and an insult to Sir Pterry to have his name attached to such an awful series. Genuinely pissed off that I couldnt love it as I was expecting to.

Hated the ending, I too had them down as having a platonic sibling type love for each other. Oh well.
