Primary junior schools in Watford

Hi, we have recently moved to Watford. I have applied for my 9 year old son in year 5 for chapter junior, Field junior school but unfortunately, there is no space there. Hertfordshire advise us St. John’s primary school. I have no idea about this school. Otherwise, we have an option to appeal for the above schools which are closer to our place. Should we settle for St. John’s primary ? Any reviews for this school is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Don’t know if you’ve made a decision already, but although my children don’t go there, I’ve heard only positive things about St John’s. I’d definitely pick it over some others. It was on my shortlist of 4 schools when applying for my eldest. Definitely worth a look and considering. A friend has a child there. Very happy with it.

Thank you for the reply. No we haven’t decide yet. St. John catholic school is very far from where I live. So have to pass it. We have been offered a place in Laurence Haince school and I don’t know to wait for the appeal for chapter junior or accept the offer. Anyone child going to this school ? Any reviews would be helpful. Thanks
