I mostly have very broken sleep and not much of it, am not overweight - just a normal weight for my height, fairly slim I suppose (size 8/10).
Lack of sleep is terrible for the body in so many ways but I haven't personally ever noticed an effect on my appetite or what I eat either way. I would say it's roughly the same regardless- If I don't get enough sleep I feel grim and don't feel like eating, particularly in the morning, feel too tired to make any huge effort cooking and so on.
