Aggh! For the umpteenth time over the past four weeks I've got still damp washing off the line because it's started to rain (again!). I wish the weather would make up its mind!
It's sunny and warm for a couple of hours and then the black clouds gather and it's pouring down! Which either means dashing outside once more to get semi-dried clothes in to drape over our small drier (tumble drier broke down last year and we decided not to replace for environmental/energy cost reasons) or - if I'm out - coming back to washing on the line which is more dripping wet than when I'd hung it out! And then the sun comes out again.
We're a family of six so washing/drying is pretty much a daily event just to stay on top of it and this has been going on for weeks.
I know we're all in the same boat with the UK weather just now and there are bigger issues in the world at the moment but I just needed to vent! 😂
