I have mastitis, I went to the out of hours GP on Sunday and I was given antibiotics. That seems to have cleared it up a good bit, it was bright red and very painful, it is pink and tender now.
But yesterday (Tuesday) on other breast started to hurt. A different sort of pain. More like really badly strained/ bruised.
I am exhausted, and have a temp of 38 but I'm not sure what else the GP can do. I have antibiotics for another week to take - I was given 10 days and told to re-assess after 7 days myself. I will take the full course now.
Should I go back to the GP? I'm in Ireland so no 111 number to call
