Household staff

I'm posting here hoping I'm not given abuse.
We have recently moved back to the UK and need help. 6 kids and 4 dogs is getting tiresome daily. Large 10 bed house with stables.
All we need is another housekeeper/5days as our current one only does 2 days and an monthly dinner party event organiser. We have outside trades and cleaning men.
Where is the best place to advertise?
We are outside of Harrogate.

I am out of touch with these things nowadays, but The Lady magazine was always the place to look for domestic staff a while back.

There are probably recruitment agencies dealing purely in domestic staffing online these days but I'm afraid I don't know who. Good luck.

Speak to a London household staff agency. One of the larger ones a good starting point. Where were you before? How many staff do you currently employ?

We currently have a part time housekeeper and 3 grounds men/gardeners. They do pool maintenance etc. The stables are run by an outside company.
My husband is an Irish and UK passport holder. We have returned from Oman.

I'd go through one of the agencies like Harris, Eden, Harmony at Home or Imperial. Otherwise you'll be spending ages checking references and trying to set up interviews.
