I have done before. I put it on the normal cycle.

Bleach can damage the machine, particularly the rubber round the door

Olika · 26/07/2023 06:18

I have done it by pouring a little on the mark itself. Though afterwards I run the machine empty to make sure there are none left to ruin future loads.

I make up a bleach and water solution and pour it into the pre-wash drawer of my washing machine. Then put in the normal fabric softener and detergent in their compartments.

I pour it in with liquid detergent.

I occasionally put a squirt directly on the drum with no ill effects. My washing machine is 10 years old so obviously hasn’t damaged it.

I recently put bleach through my machine to get rid of a bad smell. I put it through the detergent dispenser. It worked a treat. I ran it a second time with just water to get rid of any traces of bleach.

I do this from time to time also, no ill effects

Everything I’ve read actually recommends doing it.

I just pour it into the detergent but along with the detergent
