Manchester airport parking

I'm trying to book the terminal 1 car park and it won't give me the option of anything other than meet & greet .
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I had the same issue, I have been before not in the summer holidays and could park myself. I’m unsure if it’s changed or during peak times. We ended up parking else where for this reason. I don’t want to hand my keys over

@Duckduckie I agree. We've never had this problem before. I don't want meet & greet.
I want to keep my keys and just park!

Go to holiday extras and there will be plenty of “unofficial” extras with shuttle buses. There’s dozens of them and the vast majority are perfectly legit.

although, the meet and greet is good. Last summer it came with free fast track for security (at the time where massive queues were on the news) which made it worth every penny.

That seems to offer both multistorey and mid-stay alongside meet & greet.

How much is it now? I always get a taxi because I live nearby and just wondering if parking is better value now on shorter trips.

Jeez it's over £120 for a week. What a rip off.

Do you mean the multistorey? It's probably sold out if it's for these school holidays.

We went for a weekend to Bordeaux in term time in May and I had pre-booked multi-storey (different terminal to you, I think) I was driving round and round it and there were just no spaces at all. We looked everywhere. Ended up in the very last space on the roof. If that's what they're all like I imagine that in school holiday time you have to book WAY ahead.

How odd. You can book T1 multi storey for Wed 1st to 9th November when you do a search on dates. Maybe it's a popular time that you're trying to book?

Do you know, I think I've had a similar issue before myself. One minute you look and there's nothing seemingly available. Then you look the next day or even a few hours later and there is. Maybe there are a lot of cancellations? Or third parties who block book spaces and then release the unsold ones?

You catch a bus to the terminal but they are very frequent.

Maybe it also depends on length of stay. Dunno. Hope you get sorted anyway, OP. I it's any consolation we've also used Drop and Go before when nothing was available cos I'd forgotten to pre-book and I was worried about using it. But it was quite easy to use and all was ok on return seemingly.
