Choosing a new fridge-freezer

Our American style fridge-freezer is about 20y old and it is starting to die. I would like to replace it with a French doors style ff, with freezer drawers beneath. Has anyone got one they can recommend, or tips on what to look out for or avoid? We eat loads of veg, so I would like one full-width veg drawer rather than two diddy ones. Anyone got one and love it? Or regret it and wish they'd chosen one with two small veg drawers?

Oh great. It has actually died. Now we really need to choose and buy one quickly.

Similar dire situation here. Also thinking about moving to a French doors style one. Does anyone have any recommendations please? I find the freezer part of current American fridge freezer really irritating as the shelves get overstuffed (by other users!) and I can’t see what’s on them. We don’t want a water dispenser.
Thanks.

I don't have a French type one but I do have one with a large drawer instead of 2 small ones and it is much better.

We got this one: www.lg.com/uk/fridge-freezers/multi-door-fridge-freezers/gmb844pzfg/

We ended up compromising on the veg drawer in order to get more efficient (ie cheaper to run). One big veg drawer would have been more comfortable, I think. We use one drawer for salad veg and one for cooking veg. Meat goes in a large plastic tub on a shelf. Overall, though, very happy with our purchase.
