picking up from Luton

I've agreed to collect my daughter and her
mates from Luton airport in the early hours of the morning. We're only half an hour away.
Looking at the website, the short and mid term parking is limited to 15 mins and extortionate after that. What do you all do when picking someone up? Flight gets in at half one so she might not return to terminal for 30-60 mins or so. Is there somewhere safe nearby where I can park up and wait for her to text me to come and get her?

I parked in the airport car park that has a 10 min bus shuttle - I think it was an hour free?

they have cameras up. Go to the mid-term car park.

There's cameras at the entrance and an exit barrier for you to pay at.

There is an 'ibis' hotel just outside the perimeter charging zone, with a small access road. We drop off/pick up our lodger from there (yes, we are too good to him for little thanks and no payment) when he goes home. A LOT of people do the same.

We use the Ibis too.

We got the dart and got picked op from the station luyon parkway, it was quiet and dart is quick

honestly, it's changed so much from when I used to drop off and pick up there - no car parks, you could get in for free and just wait, etc. No more!!!

Showing my age my thinking I can just sit in a carpark and noone will realise how long I've been there! Bloody number plate technology! I think I'll pull up at the hotel
and wait for her to text to say she's standing in the pick up zone
