We are in stoke ferry. Any MNers know the area and can advise things to do? Have access to a car.
Dh and dc went to the beach the other day so arent interested in that (I worked). They went to Norwich yesterday (i had a migraine). They are at a water park this am (i had to stay with other dc who didnt want to go). Dh wants to go to sandringham this afternoon but I feel like it will be just another old house, of which I have seen loads.
But I am not inspired by anything I can find on days out type websites. Please inspire me with things to do in the area!

I'm in the area, just down the road a bit.

Shouldham Warren is lovely for a walk or bike ride in the woods, kids love it there.

Not sure if Gooderstone Water Gardens are still open? Oxborough Hall (if only for the priest hole experience!)

Go to Sandringham for the garden and museum, the house is, as you say, just another big house. But the grounds are really nice and the museum is good. Also woodland walks for free without having to go into the actual grounds, gift shop and cafe etc.

If you have small children go to Bewilderwood! Or Roarr dinosaur park.

Head down to Ely for nice river walks.

Go punting at Cambridge...

To be honest there's not a great deal to do in the Stoke Ferry area. We do days out that are 2-3 hours drive away! But we don't have small children which may make this harder if you do.

Gooderstone is a hidden gem I hadnt found in my searches, so thank you. Will suggest that to dh.

Can you go to the wildfowl trust place Springwatch visit?

There's lots of free museums too.
