Was chatting to a friend today and got on to the subject of our thoughts when handed our DC for the first time.
Ds1 a long labour ending in an emergency cs, lots of drugs, very hazy but was instantly in awe, couldn't stop staring at him, thought he was just stunning but he didn't look like myself or Dh or anyone in the family, he felt totally " new" to me.
Ds2 planned CS, as soon as I saw him I felt like I'd known him forever, I just thought " oh it's Tom" , Tom isn't his name so i've no idea where that came from! He looked nothing like Ds1 either but I just knew him instantly. Has anyone experienced this?
