My car lease has just come to an end and I owe the company £200 for going over with the miles. Not an issue I paid over the phone whilst discussing another issue with them. Since then they have tried to charge me again for the miles. I rang again today and they told me to just contact my bank and cancel the payment. I have done but I'm worried this could be seen as a missed payment? The company said it won't affect my credit score but I will get an automatic letter from them which I can ignore saying I need to make the payment. I have already had a few issues with the car company so they are not filling me with confidence.
