Protecting Chi. Peculiar or not?

Our DD is in what me and her dad believe to get a very healthy relationship.
Mutual respect and very loving.
She recently asked me if I knew what Chi is. I said no, she explained that her partner doesn't climax during sex.
Apparently it protects his Chi.
I can't be the only person never to have heard of it

Added details, they are both 22 and live together.
He is vegan, meditates, does yoga and, as 8 said, is very respectful of her and calming

I am vaguely aware of a school of thought that says not ejaculating keeps your power inside you. You kind of charge up by not climaxing and lose it all if you do climax. I don’t believe it but it is an established (if niche) belief.

Fair enough, as long as they are both happy. And they appear to be

I like your attitude; you seem to just want your child to be happy. I suppose there are all kinds of philosophies in the world!
