Lego bricks

Hi

How does one buy Lego bricks? Not sets (got a million sets) but just quantities of standard blocks for building.

The creative sets seem to have lots of extras - doors, little bits etc - which we don't need. We just need a load of 2 x 4, 2 x 8 type bricks.

Just buy Lego Classic sets. They are just bricks.

Thanks @Caspianberg but those sets still have loads of flat pieces and small items - with relatively few classic bricks for building. It feels a waste when we don't need the small stuff - just the chunkier blocks.

You can pick a brink on the lego site though I suspect that's an expensive solution

Thanks @LovelyBitOfSquirrrel That one looks good. My DSs are keen on black (and very very dark grey...) so might need two of that set.

Yes you need 11030, it's gives you a massive pile of decent bricks. Currently on a special offer on Costco in case you're a member.
