Do I tip the removal men?

Moving on Thur, not far but have paid for packing and removal service.

Quick question- do you tip the removal men?

And if you paid for the packing service, what time did they arrive the day before?

Ours were amazing, the price was very reasonable and yes we tipped. (Or rather DH did, don’t know how much, sorry).

We did when we moved - 10% of the overall moving cost in cash. They did a great job and we were happy to recognise and reward that.

Can't recall if I tipped but I did but loads of biscuits and made them loads of cups of tea without being asked. They seemed very happy.

When we used Britannia I wanted to fuss over them they were so great

I thought 10% would be the going rate. Still a lot of money.

Just reminded me to get biscuits in. Ta.

We gave them £20 each (there were 4 of them) in an envelope to the main man ‘for a drink’ they all said thank you which was nice
we were generous with biscuits and donuts with drinks
The packing service varies I think. Ours was a few hours over several days in the run up, finishing on the morning
