Fibre sofa vs foam filling

Need a replacement sofa . Ours was a gifted horrible leather recliner 10 years ago that the metal under it is killing my body.
New one is from dhs
It comes in 2 options
Fibre or foam
Any advice ?
I've read fibre is softer , we don't like a firm seat as I have aches and pains , we want something snug but we also don't want to buy something and after few months or 1 year it has huge indents where our arses have sat. Foam is an extra £300 which is quite a stretch at the moment and we couldn't afford but its weather foam would be a better long term investment as we don't be changing for a few years.

We've got the high density foam in our couch, lasted really well - 15 years so far 🤞🏻 and it's very comfy, doesn't feel like you are sitting on concrete! Our snuggle chair is a HD foam bottom cushion and back is filled, 5 years old and need to get the back restuffed as it's lost shape and support

I wouldn’t pay the extra again. We did and I’m desperate for this sofa to wear out so I can get one with softer cushions. It is so firm that I couldn’t sit through a whole film without getting up to get the feeling back in my rear.

Just turn the cushions over regularly if you’re worried about indents, or swap them around if they’re the same size.
