DBS question

Today I found out that someone who is currently, not allowed to see their own DD unsupervised, has a history of DV, has an order which prevents them being near their ex partner or house. There has also been a number of incidents involving the police, has started volunteering at a group aimed at 11-18 year olds this concerns me, however they will be ran through a DBS, is it likely that this will show up?

I am quite worried as the person is not in a good place mentally and quite a loose cannon with their temper. They have made a number of TikToks were they tell their truth and the revenge they are hoping to get one day.

If they haven't actually been convicted etc then it may not appear. I knew of a local one where the DBS was apparently clear in similar circumstances.
Could you send the Tiktoks to the place stating safeguarding concerns?

Thanks for your reply, I was hoping that the as there was court orders in place which they have broken and got a caution it would flag but then I wasn’t sure.
I do know the people who run the group vaguely but didn’t really want to get involved as if they found out they would not be happy and seek revenge on me. (They are rather dramatic) but it doesn’t feel right warning the group.

Ffs.

Warn the group. Do it anonymously but make sure you include all the relevant information.

You have sufficient information that causes you grave concerns about this person. Please protect the children they are going to be working with.

There should be a safeguarding officer you can contact. If not, is there an umbrella organisation who has one?
Failing that, set up an anonymous email address and use that to email them.

Just noticed the typo in my last post, it doesn’t feel right not telling the group.
If it comes to it I will speak to the group I was just wanting to avoid having to as I don’t want to become a target but I would not put children at risk.
