Time Parameters debate

A friend messaged me today and said to call sometime this evening. I called at 6:30 and she was busy. She said she would call back 'this evening'.

Now obviously I am not in anyway offended by this but it got me thinking that people must have different ideas of time parameters.

Here are mine:
Morning 7-12
Afternoon 12-6
Evening 6-9
Night 9-6

Does everybody else think this or am I out? Ps when I had young children morning often started from 5am 😁

But what is the hour you've got there between night finishing at 6 and morning starting at 7?!

Whoops that's my mistake. Actually I think that's the time my alarm goes off and I pretend it's not morning 😁
