Does anyone know - if a medication eg anti depressant has a known common side effect of weight gain whether that is because your metabolism is slowed down or because your appetite is increased? Thanks

I have noticed and others around me have too that I've gained weight since I started taking setraline - not a single other thing in my life has changed.
