They are spreading over my face. Like dirty brown marks.

Is there a cream or treatment?

My aesthetics doctor swears by Obagi medical. It's prescription only and expensive but apparently works brilliantly. I'll be starting it after summer - will post back then.

Are these the same as sun pigmentation?

I have melasma even though I used Nivea 50+ every day. About to start Dermatica in the Hope of getting rid of it. Whilst looking into causes I found some information about chemical sunscreens being linked so will be changing to a mineral spf asap to see if that helps.

Since I started using chemical sunscreens rather than mineral ones I’ve developed awful age spots. I actually don’t think they work at all.

@Nomoreheroics That’s really interesting. I have been a huge fan of the Nivea anti shine SPF50+ because it’s the only one I’ve found that doesn’t make me look super shiny and is a bargain price. I wore it on holiday recently and didn’t tan at all but I’ve definitely got melasma that I didn’t have before when I used nothing at all.
