It's not coming today is it?

Made the mistake of buying something off Vinted which is being delivered by Yodel. I managed to miss the delivery yesterday and was given a card saying they'll redeliver today. But according to the tracker, it's been 'at the depot' all day :(

Does anyone know what happens to packages when Yodel can't deliver them on the expected day? Do they go back to the depot or stay in the driver's van?

And those of you who have been in this position before, how likely is it that I'll get my package today?!

Have spent the morning looking at Yodel reviews and my gosh they are are such an awful, awful company - I will never actively use them again!!

We use Yodel as a small business and they are actually better than a lot of couriers. I mean, really, who goes online to write a positive review of a courier company? No one does.

Generally, I would assume you need to schedule re-delivery. Normally, ours just leaves them as they don't want to come back out the next day either. But it won't stay in the truck (which is at the depot, anyway). I would assume you need to arrange re-delivery. There is usually a url on the ticket that's been left with instructions for how to do that and a tracking number.

I'd keep the faith, here it's a guy in his car who does the Yodel delivery and he only seems to work late afternoons.

It very much depends on the person who works your particular area rather than the courier company so for example I won't buy from anywhere on-line who use Yodel or DPD because the blokes who work around here are shite but the Evri bloke actually seems to possess a brain cell or three.
