Bed Bug? (With pics)

Help! My toddler has just woken up with these bumps on skin (arm and legs). She doesn’t say it’s itchy however I’m not sure.
I found this pesky little thing on the wall next to her bed. Is this a bed bug? Please can someone help how to get rid of these (if there are more, I couldn’t find though) :( thanks in advance!

Looks right size for bed bug. They do tend to be very itch once you start scratching. They tend to eat in lines so I used wake up line along leg or stomach leaving welt marks. Got ours from a new sofa shop must have been hibernating. Got some smoke bombs type things off eBay closed the room up leave for hours. Stunk but did the job.

It’s not a bed bug, it’s too hairy. Looks like a carpet beetle larvae

Thank you both.

@CockSpadget how do to get rid of these? Should I call pest control?

You can get smoke bombs from Amazon that will kill them, try that first before pest control. They are really good, and obviously far cheaper.
They don’t bite, but those little hairs do cause rashes and irritation.

Two things are being mixed up here. The bite could be anything from a spider to a mozzie, bed bugs tend to bite in tracks/lines, it's unlikely this is a bed bug bite. The pic is of a carpet beetle larva, they feed on natural fibres in carpets and clothes, they don't bite people and would not have caused the bite on your son.

Thank you. I have ordered the smoke bombs and keeping dd in our room for now. These are the bumps on the back of her legs. Seems like we have carpet beetles and bed bugs both :(

Those bites are not bed bugs, the bug on the wall is not a bed bug. You don't have bed bugs, and you don't need to nuke the bedroom for a carpet beatle.

Bites more likely to be mozzie or midges.
