Life has been shit

Life has been a bit shit recently. And I wanted to post something positive. Its not the best in the world and still needs a little finishing up. But I done my garden completely on my own. No male help. No one called in etc. It was really hard work. But got there in the end.

I know alot of people won't like/agree with what I have done. That's fine.

I just needed to post something positive for me because life has been a bit shit.

Yes definitely. Up the top end where you can see I Need to sort/tidy. There's a flower bed there so I can plant things there and I'm going to ad pot plants as well.

I'm normally very critical of plastic grass but to be fair, the before pic shows your soil was terrible and hardly capable of sustaining biodiversity. It's not really a loss and your new improved garden will bring you so much joy! Well done on powering through. I'm a bit overwhelmed with the 90ft long garden I'm about to buy. It's just a field of grass at the moment so I'll need to get the big tools out to carve paths and plant large flower beds, I won't be able to afford a professional to help. It's going to be a long slog but this is inspiring.

Azaeleasinbloom · 20/07/2023 18:47

Looks great and well done - that’s an amazing amount of work for one person! I think with kids, the plastic grass is a good choice - low maintenance and football proof

MaidOfSteel · 20/07/2023 18:47

You've done a great job, OP! You've put a lot of hard work into the garden and should give yourself a big pat on the back. Now get outside whenever you can and enjoy any sunshine. That always cheers me up. Sending 💐

Cornettoninja · 20/07/2023 18:52

Not a fan of plastic grass on a certain level but we live in a world where it exists and people have that choice.

I’m not going to criticise you as an individual - you’ve clearly done a stunning job.

I am going to criticise you for bad mouthing the K9 - she was clearly supervising and acting as security. Back off! Grin
