What has happened to pillows?

Ok as per title...

What has happened to FOAM pillows.

For years I have brought Fogarty or Dunelm anti allergy. Occasionally M&S. they were decent quality foam pillows, thick but not too thick, lasted well.

Everything now feels like it is stuffed with kapok.

Cannot find a decent foam one unless you want a memory foam which I don't want I have purchased all the aforementioned brands again recently and been rubbish.

Don't like feather pillows as too soft and the feather bones freak me out.

Any recommendations?

Japanese buckwheat pillows - sobakawa. They’re a weird size and pretty hard but surprisingly comfortable and hard wearing.

Premier Inn at Home pillows were suggested. They are the best pillows I’ve ever had.

I got wool pillows from tk maxx that are good. I like a firm pillow though.

Dunlopillo rubber pillows are amazing. I've been using them for 30 odd years now. Very expensive though they last for years.

Murmur contour pillow is brilliant

I also have dunlopillo ones. Bought for the whole family and everyone likes them.
