Can a three year old have crisps?

Just that.

I'm planning a sandwiches and crisps lunch on Saturday, which will include a three year old.

Is it OK just yo buy a big bag of crisps and share them out?

For complicated reasons, I can't ask his parents, so looking for a general view.

Thanks

Try French Fries or Pombears?

Yes of course, unless there are food allergies. But you shouldn't be feeding a 3 year old (or any child under about 8) anything at all without checking whether they have food allergies.

DS1 didn’t have crisps until he went to school, then as soon as he started going to parties, he’s go nuts and fill his plate with them 🤣

Erm, no they arent? LOL.

One pack of ready salted crisps:
Energy: 133kcal
Fat: 8.1g
Sugars: 0.1g
Salt: 0.3g

One pack of skips:
Energy: 71kcal
Fat: 4.3g
Sugars: 0.9
Salt: 0.29

It's in terms of the flavourings. Flavoured crisps are usually classed as UPF whereas plain ones aren't

And by plain I don't mean pombears, means ones that are just sliced potatoes fried and with a bit of salt. Most people don't mind their children having some UPFs at a party / as a treat. But I would be a bit wary if I wasn't there myself. My little one wouldn't know where to stop with the bright orange puff type ones (had to physically remove him from a big bowl of them at a party the other day)

My grandchildren love Pringles!
