Dyspraxia in 6yo - Help

Hello,

We've had parents evening this week and the teacher heavily suspects my DD 6 is dsypraxic.

She has hypermobilty but is struggling with coordination in PE and her writing and it's started to have an effect on her confidence.

I have a GP appointment this evening booked to discuss but want any tips and advice from anyone who had been through the process?

What do I need to be asking?

Have a look on here and on the Dyspraxia foundation
Dyspraxia affects more than just movement. Suspect there may be a long wait to explore diagnosis.

Our youngest was diagnosed with Hypermobility, SPD and autism age 3. Our eldest only got her Dyspraxia diagnosis as an adult.

Just repeat what has been said at school and ask for referral for diagnosis.
