Bleed at varying levels for 10-12 days.
Blood fade off to next to nothing for 2-4 days.
Blood resume for another week to ten days.
That centre point is when they ovulate. When they are most attractive and will get pregnant if mated.
Lots of girls bleed more days, or less days than that but a season lasts 28 days from first day of blood.
Forget what they are or aren't doing blood wise.
That's your benchmark if you walk on public land. 28 days she is in season.
However some don't start bleeding again, at all after they ovulate in the middle.
This means nothing. Bleeding or not bleeding they are in season.
If you wish to cover her entire season to be safe and keep fellow walkers dogs safe from the scent trails your bitch lays when in season keep her home for 28 days.
However after a good bath or a big swim most bitches are not fertile and not terribly attractive from about day 22/23 onwards. I allow them back at class on day 24.
But forget blood and this and that. It's irrelevant. That's just the average girl.
Go on day numbers not blood.
